(PBA) when in a tournament if you would bowl a 300 game you would get the PBA ring (made by Jostens). Each 300 game after that they would
put a diamond around the crest. Here's my ring with 12 diamonds, that all that would fit...

I got some cool things from the past. My grandad's Browning humpback Belgium sweet 16, My dad's 4 digit serial # Winchester 71 in .348 that is an early 1930's manufacture, and of course some wonderful memories and memorabilia.

Nothing is more precious than my relationship with Jesus Christ. Nothing is even close.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I have a half dozen paintings that my favorite uncle (who was a quadriplegic) painted by holding the paintbrush in his mouth. He passed away in โ€˜90. These are all outdoor paintings; ducks, geese, bass, etc.
I have a rifle from each of my grandfathers, one of dads, and another from that same uncle.

Other than that, none of my possessions come to mind as being prized.

My grandad always told my grandma that when he "made it" he would buy a Rolex. She didn't believe him until one day he came home with one. It's well known in the family that she thought about stabbing him to death for doing something so stupid. Anyways, he died, and left me his Rolex along with a hand written note about the story.

Most of the material possessions that I have could be sold for the right price. There's a few things that are special regardless of monetary value, but if I had to pick the one and only one that I would not part with in my lifetime, it would be my great grandfather's wedding ring.

It was part of his dowry for marrying great grandma, along with paid passage to America. From him, it went to my dad's uncle, then to my dad, then to me back in 1996 or thereabouts. I wear it as my wedding ring and eventually it'll probably go to one of the male descendants on my dad's side of the family (i.e. a grandson of his brother or sister), unless we adopt a son (unlikely - our adoption agency didn't like us by the time our daughter's adoption was completed).

My wife. My Fathers Flag & shell casings from his funeral & all of his Medals earned while in the Military. They are arranged inside of a very nice glass case where I can see them every day. My grandfathers .22 rifle & 16 ga. double barrel Damascus shotgun.

Reality. What a concept!

I have my dads Winchester model 12 , 20 gauge that was also his fathers. Both died before the age of 50. I had many great hunts with that model 12 , some with my dad shooting it then some later with me shooting it. I canโ€™t rack that gun for the first time each season without instantly being back in all those great memories.

I still have both parents in my life, so not much from them, yet. I can wait for that. A few items that I do have and keep in my nightstand to look at when I am missing the ones we have lost.

1st photo. My Grandpa's first military ID from 1927. He served in the Navy, Army and retired Air Force. Next to my Dad, he was the greatest man I knew. He passed last year. soldier
2nd photo. My Grandpa on a Japanese tank taken on Wake Island.
3rd photo. Newspaper from Alpena, MI 1975. I was sitting on my Great, Great Grandfathers lap sharing M&M's with him on his 100th birthday. I am 48 now and I can seriously remember this day and the trip with my mom to Michigan to go visit him.
