Been having a reel successful season so far out on Padre Island, including a fun run down the Port Aransas jetty! The reds are running and I got a beauty while in search of a taggable fish so I can show you how to apply your own tag this season.

Enjoyed the video!! Hooked up with some big reds off the jettys long ago, but never landed. Daughter and I went out 2 years ago from Freeport and anchored at the mouth of the Brazos. Bull reds were schooling all trough there and got to tag 2 each. Signing and dating the tag is very important on an oversize Redfish.( slot limit 20-28") Do that before you put the oversize fish in the box. GW's frown upon people that do not fill out that tag first.
