I have been to Lake Fork once this past April. Stayed at the Lake Fork Lodge.
Overall - Great time, caught some good ones, played golf once and ate good. Tiffany’s was nice and was unexpected.

Looking to come down again fairly soon. Bass fishing only. We live in Kansas City and I bringing a friend that has never been.

The two questions I have:

1) if you could pick a week right now, had to be picked now but could be any week, now til December, which week would you choose.

2) would you choose somewhere else to stay, get a slip, eat etc?

I wont have to ask after a few more trips but I appreciate the forum and the help people gave last trip. Must be a Texas thing.

Thanks guys
Ryan

The first of November can be good. Not many boats and the lake is finished turning over.

Second this. ^^^^^^^^^ Also there is a well marked lane right there that makes it easy to get to main lake trails and back. Not so at other places.

I think there is a guy here on the forum that has a nice trailer at Fork that he rents out. If I'm wrong about that, maybe it's a room above the garage.
Just something to consider.

I’ll add:
Gordita Express - drive though/small dine in area as well
Stefano’s Greek Kouzina
Chateau Bistro (best western) - It’ll take 2-3hrs but the food is top notch
Funny Frogs (next to Dairy Queen) Has great hard ice cream and good food well.
Dos Charros makes a pretty good margarita and has cold beer.

Appreciate the help. You guys are always super helpful.

With work and friend’s work, we are coming down 11/6-11/10

Hoping we are able to find some fish.
Plan is to start in Little Caney on Sunday and then looking for some main lake isolated trees if they aren’t shallow.

It looks like pretty stable weather and the lake levels dropping.

We have an extra day on the end. If they arent biting at Fork, any thoughts on a spot for numbers?

Thanks
