If you are looking for some awesome slab wood pieces you need to this place out. BlackHawk Millworks, 2780 Dreibrodt Rd, San Marcos, TX. They have all kinds of wood and more walnut that I have ever seen in one spot. Very friendly folks and prices are good. Check out their reviews. My first time there today but I will be going back.

Do you know of a mill that carries cedar slabs close to Waco? Blackhawk looks great but doesn’t carry cedar.

Down town in Sattler just behind the Real Pit BBQ place is a little place that sells them along with firewood. Small place with no name but they have some nice ones. If close enough for you I can drive by and take some pictures so you can see what they have

Thanks for the offer spacejunkie. I have been to Wamplers in Bastrop and they are great. I was just trying to find something closer for me. This looks to be a little farther. I do appreciate the info.
