Had Big Cypress Bayou below the spillway all to myself last Friday, but the fishing was really slow all morning down to the pumping station. I decided to push on downstream to a "path less travelled" and proceeded to catch several bass on a whopper plopper. It was some of the best top water action I have seen. Can't wait to get back out there to see if I can get that topwater bite again from those spotted ditch pickles.
