Back when TV shows were simple and simply entertained instead of trying to be woke.

yep all good shows along with many others, like Andy Griffin yes just good old redneck humor.
lots of good shows for just fun Gilligan's island, Hawaii 5-O, and Gunsmoke, just to name a few.

Andy Griffith may be my all time favorite. It’s still on every weekday on two different channels. I often put it on in the background when I’m doing something else.

My parents always had Star Trek,MASH,nightcourt,Taxi,Ripleys, Green Acres

Grandparents had HeeHaw, All in the family, WWF

Some already mentioned and some I can see in memory but names slip me.

Airwolf, Otto or auto...slipping still.

The redhead and I have been watching MASH alot lately on streaming tv. Quite often we'll note moments of dialogue, character behavior, etc that would surely get the episode (or even the whole show) yanked if it were in production today.

I'd trade every episode of every single show mentioned here for like 10 minutes of Game of Thrones, or Dave, or The Walking Dead, or Westworld, or What We Do in the Shadows, or...

I hate my mayonnaise in breakable glass jars, I dislike wood paneled walls and brown polyester slacks, and I do not yearn for simpler times on my television.

That said, "BJ and the Bear" sure sounds painfully raw.

M*A*S*H* = GOAT!! That was a TV show. It took you through all the emotions throughout it's run.
