I think I'll put a trail camera on my garage floor and see what's prowling around. That way I can check for rodents, snakes, spiders, and maybe even spirits.

rudy, hope you are doin well. was wondering where you had been. Doin better , ticker gave out on me last July was put on a transplant list but my age, diabetic, and former heavy smoker pretty much put me at the bottom of the list, not to mention ticker was fading quickly and had to make an immediate decision to opt for an LVAD(battery powered heart pump) was in the hospital for a couple on months lost 50lbs.plus barely could read or walk lots of rehab during my stay and finally stabilized, kinda frustrated that I can't do everything I used to do ,but have to remind myself that I'm here to b!tch about it. and count my blessings, still alot of drawbacks depending on batteries to keep you goin, the main one is unhooking my batteries at bedtime and switching to being plugged into the wall(110v)until I get recharged ! Can't get the unit wet ,so falling out of boat is borderline suicidal ,anyways with covid pretty much hang at the house and don't get out much, still lurking the TFF and watching old westerns keeps me occupied. I'll chime in from time to time.

Rats chewed all the wires to my golf cart. We are now at war. They ate into a wiring harness on my wifes car in our driveway. It was a harness to the front bumper "sensors" so we got an ABS code. $689 to fix it at the dealers. I am battling those little bastages now. We are 1000' from the waterfront. I have fed them 6 lbs. so far of TomCat wax peanut poison blocks. 1 Dead one found so far. We have possums too (I can see them on the Ring and Blink cams). I think the possums are eating the wax poison blocks too and I think they love them. I bought a live trap at Tractor Supply two days ago. Baited it with peanut butter on a chocolate bar, cheese peanut butter crackers and so far NOTHING. bait with sardines MO

cheap cat food from dollar store is what I use for coons in the dog proof traps.
brings in a lot of other critters, think I got a bobcat in one at one of my pig traps, something ripped the parachute cord I had it tied to and left with the trap.

Full coverage auto insurance typically will cover rodent damage to vehicles under comprehensive. At least all the insurance companies Iām familiar with will. Now homeowners coverage wont cover damage from rodents.
