If small size is the priority, take a look at the lithium batteries

Going all day with a 12 and an 8, you might want to go with a 30 amp hour option. Here’s another one

I run a Garmin 126SV and Livescope on a Dakota Lithium 23ah and haven't had any issues fishing as long as I want each day..They have a 11 year warranty.

You’re pulling 3 amps with the combo, your days must be 8hrs or less. The OP is pulling 6 amps/hr, that wouldn’t last him 4 hours, assuming he keeps them on. Guys here are gonna have him wasting money on a battery that’s too small.

The 8" helix unit draws 2.4 amps per hrs. and 12" draws 3.2 amps a total of 5.6 amps per hrs. So divide battery size of mine 54amp (A) by total amps of units 5.6 = 9.642Hrs. Both units can stay on for 9.6Hrs. I will be buying the Dakota Lithium 54ah it also comes with charger, and some #10 wire and beaker also.

Going all day with a 12 and an 8, you might want to go with a 30 amp hour option. Here’s another one good advice. I bought this exact battery in 20ah for my Garmin 126 and livescope. Would get about 7 hours out of it. Ended up buying another 20ah and running in parallel. Buy the 30ah and save yourself some money.
