The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be having our eighth meeting of 2021 this Thursday night October 7th. We will be meeting in the conference room downstairs at Bass Pro Shops in Garland. Down the stairs, hang a left and look for the open doors along the wall. We will get started at 6:30PM. Memberships will not be taken as there is only one tournament left in the season, but please feel free to come out and see how we do things.

We will go over results from last months tournament on Lake Richland Chambers. Some big fish were caught, and if you caught one, we want to know how. We will talk about our tournament this coming Saturday on Lake Bob Sandlin. We will go out of the Titus County Park ramp and fish 7:00-3:00. Full details will be posted here in the Bass Clubs section. We'll talk about off limits, no wakes, fish care and also do Partner Finder for anyone looking for a ride or a partner on Saturday.

We will choose a finishing times and talk about details for our Club Championship which will take place November 13-14 on Lake O' The Pines. We will run Saturday morning check in and weigh in from Johnson Park Ramp.

We'll get a report from our team that went out to fish the BCT Top 6 on Lake Brownwood.

We will be distributing shirts and hats that were ordered. We may not have all of them as with so many things in our country right now, inventory is hard to get.

We will talk about next years schedule as things have changed a bit on what lakes are available to be picked.

Remember to qualify for the AOY, and the Club Championship in November you must fish 5 of 9 members only tournaments and also participate in a Community Event. Our signature Community Event of course is Fish For A Cure coming up on Sunday October 31. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. We will discuss FFAC. We need volunteers to make sure the event runs smoothly. We need sponsors, prize donations and volunteers. We are auctioning off three donated entries in to FFAC, (a $150 value) and also have a drawing for free entries in to all members only RHBC tournaments in 2022 (a $540 value) so bring your wallet or check book! We're getting close to go time! Time to ramp up the effort!
