I tried to figure out the GoPro while fishing thing out a couple of years ago and failed but I thought I'd try again this past weekend. I always have it off when it should be on or vice versa but I caught a funny moment and somehow had the thing on.

We were in less than two feet of water and the trolling motor got hung up on a lay down, then this happened.



First I'm surprised I almost lost the rod and then I sound so shocked the camera is there and actually on. I must have hit the fish on the head.

The blooper reel is the best part of using the camera. I tagged my buddy with a frog earlier and thought he might throw me out of the boat.

Like the old timers say.... It's far better to be lucky than good!

Pretty good stuff. I snagged some old line the other day on camera, turned out there was a bass on the other end of it still hooked up.

That was crazy....

I had something similar last year. I got hung up with a jig, then shortly after high sided on a stump. After freeing my jig and letting it hang in the water, I started to rock off the tree and power off with the TM. Not as soon as the boat popped free my rod went tip down into water and luckily my reel handle snagged on the TM cord. I dropped to my knees caught the rod by the butt of the rod and proceeded to had line in a 2 lbr.

Fun when stuff like that happens....even better if you get it on the GoPro!
