Lost a friend and a fishing guide today. Dave Benson of Big Dave Fishing Guide Servise passed away today. I have enjoyed fishing with him over the last 2 years as well as my grandson. Dave was truly great fishing with kids. He will be missed.
I heard he lost his wife to covid exactly a year ago , Can any one confirm this ?

He died exactly a year after his wife. She did not die from Covid. Big Dave will be missed! One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I will miss our hour long plus conversations at the cleaning table at the villages after trips for sure. Thought's and prayers with his family and friends. RIP buddy!

He has one teenage son that I know of but do not know any details.
Brian thought he was in his early 20s but I’m not sure. I never met him. Haven’t heard any details on the funeral but I have been 90 to nothing since I got back in town.
