Got a little time to kill in the Paris area this coming Saturday so I am gonna fish Pat Mayse

I have never seen the lake. Any suggestions on a ramp to use and does anyone know if the lake is open to run on pad or does it have underwater structure?

Thanks.

have not been on it but it looks wide open in main lake, looks very fishy too.

I would use the sanders ramp, courtesy dock and easy to get to.

go up 271 to brannens bait shop, go west on 906 just north of them, sanders cove should be well marked where to turn.
easiest to access from paris, if you want the west end go up almost to the state line and turn on 197, the lake is well marked from there.

it is not far from me at all, I would graph the edges for trees etc. and stop at brannens for more info.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about going 271. Looks like there is a good ramp not to far from brannens. Definitely gonna hit brannens, I like to shop there when I’m in the area.

Lake might be a little crowded Saturday just FYI…there is a benefit tournament and a club tournament on that day.

Yes it is! And it’s for a young man who is battling brain cancer. It’s $100 entry fee, 3 bass limit. I believe registration starts at 5:30 at sanders cove. You can go to the Facebook page Bassinet for Eli to get more info.

I fished it a lot in the 90's. The backs of the creeks seem to be the hot spots for largemouth. The big water seems to me mainly occupied by hybrid stripers and sand bass.

They stopped stocking hybrids many years ago they all probably died out by now.
