On vacation last week so I missed all the fun. Got back late Sunday. With the weather kind of iffy this week, I hooked up the boat and headed out Monday. Had to take care of fur babies first thing so it was 9:30 before I made it in the lake and was on my way home before 3 pm. Water temperature was in the high 80’s first thing and rose to low 90’s. As Steve mentioned in a previous post, the bite was slow in the usual spots so I went searching for new ones. I happened to find a large area 100’ long and 20’ wide. Probably caught over 80 in that one spot. Ended up with 115 gills and one bass.
