Does anyone use them? How well do they work? Thinking about getting one for searching spots and I think my kids would enjoy it.

If you are in a clear water lake they work pretty good. The kids will love it. get you a 6ft piece of PVC pipe to attach the camera to, so you can point the camera where you want to look.

I had a guide on Lake Lanier (Ryan Coleman) who used the Aquavu to see fish in deep brushpiles. This was 15 years ago. Lanier is a pretty clear lake and we could see fish in brush in about 20ft of water but it was still a little murky. Aggravating to see all the big spots hanging around your bait and not even paying attention. It was still a lot of fun and kids should enjoy it. Can't think of any lakes around here (North Texas) besides maybe Texoma that has water as clear as Lanier.

Alan Henry might scare you to death. But I want to go when you bring it there!

You could get a GoPro and attach it to a rope and ease it down to a brush pile and view it on your iPad. Exact same technology, only cheaper if you have an iPhone or iPad. Plus, if you damage your GoPro and do their $49 a year program, they'll send you a new one.

bought one years ago and most of the lakes in my area were not clear enough to see much.....I never could see anything with it that made it worthwhile....

Had too.🤷🏻‍♂️😀 Seriously though, your kids will have a hoot with one especially wading around in the shallows looking around.

Only a few lakes in Texas I think would be clear enough for it. Places I like to fish it's amazing to see my 1/2oz spinnerbait in 8" of water.
