Cooler weather finally allowed us old guys to hit the lake for a 3 hour trip this morning. Dan & I caught 66 crappie plus a few misc fish. We fished 8 spots. all within 1/2 mile of the marina and got action on all of them. Had 20 nice keepers but released everything.
Best action was on anything you put in front of them. Didn't seem to matter. I used 1.25" Texas Toast and Dan used a 1.5" chart/white that Rick made for us.
18'-22' Deep brush piles.
May go again tomorrow, and the next day, and etc.
