Ok wife and myself are coming down sometime In the near future to fork for crappie. When does the fall bite start up she needs to put in for vacation will fish for 4 or 5 days thanks for the info.

I love mid October on Fork!! Late Oct you run into some front that will move the fish but early to mid October is usually money!! thumb

Right now the crappie on Fork are off the chart and will be for several more weeks or longer. I caught some in 32 fow this past weekend. I saw guys moving up tight and I'm going out deeper go figure.

I have never seen the crappie bite off on Fork..... It's a hot lake year round.....

I wouldn’t say it’s completely back on but close. Still running and gunning from spot to spot picks up 3-4 per spot. They were mostly sitting in the timber tops 16-22 FOW about 8-12 feet down. Best time of day was from about 8:30 till noon.The bigger fish have been much more aggressive lately, especially big blacks. That’s at least what I have noticed.
