Any on here that have some experience with this boat?

Looking for the good, the bad and the ugly. Feel free to PM me if you do not want to share info openly.

TIA

I have buddy that bought a new one in June of last year, nice boat, I like the Seadeck material instead of carpet. He called me Sunday night, he went fishing and found about 6 inches of water in the bottom of the boat during his trip. He trailered it and found the weld at the front where the semi v started is broke and separated allowing water to enter. He does not recall ever hitting anything but thinks beaching the boat on the bank at his lake house may have caused the issue.

I call BS on this, I have beached my fiberglass boat on shore for years and never had an issue. I thought with an aluminum boat this would never be an issue but his had to be re welded.

Jut an FYI.

If you want a tin boat look at Uncle J customs, they will be building my duck hunting boat next year.

I have a 2020 X19 Pro with a 200 SHO. Love the boat and its build quality. Great storage and boxes stay dry. The ride is really nice and cuts waves great. Doesn't have the aluminum boat "slap" that most have. The livewells keep fish alive well, but are smaller than I would like. The SeaDeck is definitely a game changer over carpet. I fish barefoot a lot and this has changed my expectations for fishing in the summer.

Doug you can come crawl Bart if you want, I can't speak to the structure of the new ones but I can tell you that on Bart all of the issues with flex and structure in the 2000-2010 ish boats has been addressed and corrected. It is strong where it needs to be and balanced. Fishes Rides and Handles exactly the same as my Pantera Classics I had although not as fast top end.

I would turn down a straight up trade offer for a Bran New one

Thanks for the responses, is there another dealer in the North Texas area besides the one at Fork?

That's even farther. LOL. Are they good people?

I drove 80 + miles to the dealer at Fork and was highly disappointed in the way I was treated. Basically was told business is great, can't get a boat for 6 months + and a sh*+ load of attitude from a guy with dip running down his chin. I asked to quote a boat for me and he said I can give you one , but he didn't want to because he can't guarantee a price. I asked can you give me price in the + or - $5k range. I have bought a lot of boats and never met anyone trying to sell something with an "anti sales pitch" grin

What a beating and what a terrible way to conduct business. But I guess I deserve it, I emailed and left voicemails several times and got zero response, should have been a sign. Or maybe I appear to look really poor and unable to afford a boat, LOL.

Not sure if Xpress corp wants that kind of "first impression" of their dealers.

Contact Gregg Rothwell of Rothwell Marine in Hope, AR. They're great folks and authorized
Xpress dealers, amongst several others. You'll be talking directly with the owner and will experience the exact opposite....

Are you dead set on an Xpress? The new Crestliner 19ft bass boat Jon Cox signature series looks awesome. I got the same run around from both Shipps and the dealer at Fork. Business so good they didn't need mine. I went to HW in in Marshall and I put a down payment down on a new Crestliner. I go the 18'10" version (XF 189). They were able to to get seadeck for me on mine and outfit exactly the way I wanted. Still had a wait time, purchased in April and got a call last week mine is in the process of being built now.

I wish I could physically see one of the boats, there are not any around. But I do like the MX 19

Call HW, they may have one on the lot. They had one when I looked.
