Every day garden variety light duty roustabout truck. It has a poorly laid out bed though. That's it, meet me at the boat ramp

I was going to say it’s used for setting luxury deer blinds No poles aren’t tall enough for the blinds you Texan set lol

Gin Poles. I operated one for over a year when I was a Wellhead tech. Useful, but also a pain in the a.....

Brings back memories from my days in College when I worked on a Huge farm for 6 years. We had one, mid 80’s Chevy, 454 4x4 with 4 on the floor. Old oil field truck we picked up just for that winch in the bed. Used it many times working on tractors. It was a beast. We had dozens of tractors and implements, we plowed 75,000 acres dry land, couple thousand acres irrigated.

It looks like the gin poles are adjustable from forward to aft. Maybe swing them back, pick up heavy object, then swing them forward to get said object on the bed?

Good for dragging sheets into place for the floor of storage tanks.
Setting valves on tanks after completion. Setting sump if tank has 1.
Need a crane to set the walls because of spreader bar and radius of wall sheets.
