We headed out this weekend to see if the Rios were active. We found a few down next to hydrilla and some by underwater logs. The bite was as hot as the temperature. When most boats are leaving is when we are starting to fish. It was 103° and everything was biting.
We also caught some redears, channel cat, crappie, bass and gasper gous.
Its been a great year so far catching fish on jigs we make ourselves.
