The wife and I fished BBS over the weekend and managed to catch absolutely nothing at all. When I say nothing, I mean nothing. No slot fish, zero. I realize this may not be the report you want, but it just may be. We fished 6am to 2pm using everything from shakey head on Berkeley power worms in blue fleck, watermelon red, watermelon candy, black blue, Senkos, creatures, topwater buzz baits, yellow magic poppers, TX rigged worms, spinner baits, DT6, lipless, frogs, drop shot, shallow, off shore in trees, points, and the little grass we did find. We fished the pure definition of Junk Fishing. In our minds, our skills were in question no doubt. I began to think, am I really this bad an angler, are others having the same luck as us? We were sure hoping so LOL. Anyhow, having said all this, we'll be back next year to make our donation to the cause.

Fork can whip some %$# it’s done it to me for sure and some of my friends who are a heck of a lot better than I am.

I fished BBS alone this year. Don't beat yourself up about it. I can catch fish on that darn lake all day long while playing around but every time I do a tournament out there, I either turn in a small bag or NADA!

I got lucky on Sunday kind of near Alligator Cove / Old Bird Island. There were a few couples fishing out there fishing with me -- you didn't happen to be in a dark red skeeter, were you?
