Plenty of sun today and caught several sunfish to go with it. Mostly small, but I caught a couple that were in the 6-8 inch range. They were biting from sunup until almost exactly 11 the bite died and they left the shallows. Water was a pleasant 84 degrees at 9:30 am. Bass were jumping for bugs occasionally but they wouldn't bite. I did have several baby bass follow my spoon and after it got hung up in weeds one cast when I reeled it back in several catchable size bass were following it. They had a one mile swimming race this morning in the lake, luckily I was on the other side.
