I have to drop my son off at Ray Roberts for work so I thought that I would try fishing this lake. I'll be at the Johnson Branch State Park. Are there any good spots for crappie or sand bass by this location. I'll be in my boat.

I sent you a PM. A week ago, main lake was still fantastic for white bass. Unfortunately, the only areas I know for crappie are way up in Buck Creek, and I don't know those well enough to give good advice.

Thanks for info. There were a lot of boats fishing underneath the bridge. Ended up catching a single crappie. The other boats weren't doing much better from what I saw. Maybe it was just a bad day. Ended up going to Texoma and caught a bunch of hybrids, stripers, and sandies.
