Starting at 6:45 AM it was still pretty dark. Water Temps are down to 80 degrees. Today was the first time we have gone back to full day fishing ending at 3 PM. The fish were biting for most. The fact that today was the day before the Sealy Outdoors tournament started there were a whole big bunch of boats on the water pre-fishing.
The MLF format counts every fish over 10" including slots . We fish three rotating sections on Lake Fork every other Thursday daytime about 22 times a year...

We fished section 2 today,


1st Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 15 bass for 27.95 LB with a lunker of 5.49 LB.
2nd Tim Gold of Mineola with 8 bass for 12.45 LB. with a 2.49 LB lunker
3rd Jack White of Farmers Branch with 4 bass for 11.44 LB with the boater lunker of 7.15 LB on drop shots.
4th Frank West of Alba with 6 bass for 10.97 LB with a 6.94 LB l
5th Dusty Newton of Canton with 5 for 8.14 LB with a 3.78 LB lunker.

Co Anglers

1st Alf Tuggle of Cypress Springs with 7 bass for 20.82 LB with a 5.49 LB lunker.
2nd Rick Wright of Rowlett with 8 bass for 10.82 LB with a 1.72 LB
3rd Gary Gilmore of Ennis with 3 fish for 8.21 LB with the co-angler lunker of 5.71 LB.
4th Ken Kielbas of Arlington with 6 bass for 7.28 LB with a .2.02 LB lunker.
5th Jackie Price of Alba with 5 bass for 5.11 LB with a 1.92 LB lunker.

99 keeper bass were caught. and 2 anglers were skunked. We nearly doubled the fish caught from the last MLF format. Fish were caught from 6" to 5'.
