I don't want those things leaving marks on my shizzz

+1, I never use them. I always hand wash. If the wife wants to drive a clean vehicle have her clean her own.

I agree. There is no magic technique that replaces washing by hand. I use the two bucket method to wash mine and between washes I run thru the self serve high pressure washes and rinse only..

I will try that TMD. I bought some RainX Bug and Tar with very little success. Grasshoppers usually die out about now so hopefully it will get better. Saw some “Jumbos” yesterday! Fantastic catfish baits.!

Then, microfiber towel and Hybrid Solutions ceramic coating--very good stuff.

Prepping is crucial w/ this stuff. Wash vehicle first usually to get rid of dust etc. Let vehicle's surface cool off. A light polish applied and buffed out is next. Apply ceramic coating and buff out. THEN...let coating "cure" for about 2 to 3 days in your garage or under a carport.

Good LORD! What happens if a bug lands on it while it is curing in the garage for 3 days?

GOD is good!

So true.

I’ve washed my truck MAYBE 10 times in 6 years. Never vacuumed the carpet. It’s interesting to say the least. Roll the windows down at 80mph and it like a Lubbock dust storm. roflmao [Linked Image]

Really nice vehicle and a good color. Did you have to do any scrubbing at all or just the foam cannon? Did you towel or chamois it dry or will it dry without spots or film residue?

Moto-Moto mentioned a while back that he had to move into the suburbs. I didn't strike him as that kind of guy either, but life happens.

That's a nice ride, for sure Moto. Yukon XL was one of my all time favorite cars when we had kids and dogs to haul around everywhere. People can get lost in that big ole' car.... thumb

Your boy Moto lost a well paying job at the beginning of 2020 for standing his ground. It was at that time, ol Moto had a come to Jesus meeting with himself about what's important in life. I downsized, and moved. I'm the happiest that I've ever been.

Now, I make aboit 30% more than I did back then, I actually keep most of it, and life is damn good.

cheers
