I use two hooks on all my rods. Twisted loops allow easy changing hooks for different size baits. Loops are deflected simultaneously during casting. It prevents tangling.

Now that all the rules on Trotlines and Jug lines are here,do you need a gear tag on Limb lines ?

I believe you do and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a limb line counts as the same thing as a throw line? TPWD doesn't mention limb lines specifically last time I looked. So I assume it needs a float and a gear tag. If anybody knows for certain please share.
