A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Grunge and “Alternative” were the worst labels in music ever.
I don’t consider AIC and Soundgarden grunge-Melvins, yes. STP, nope. Mudhoney, grunge. It’s like if a band hailed from Seattle, instant grunge label... Ridiculous

It’s just music made by kids that grew up listening to different amounts of Black Sabbath, the Beatles, the Stooges, and punk rock.

I have to agree. AiC and Soundgarden both rank up there pretty high on my list. Chris Cornell was a poetic genius. Still today I can't stand Nirvana. I barely can tolerate Pearl Jam. Never paid much attention to the rest of the bands from that area. Except for Jimi and Queensryche. Which were way before grunge was a thing.
On a side note. Operation Mindcrime is still one of the greatest concept albums ever recorded. Still jamming several songs from that album.

I posted STP but never really thought of them as grunge, they just came around at that time and their music has
survived the times... and longer than Wylan RIP. Much better music than grunge.

Definitely-1st time I saw Queensryche, they were promoting that album opening for Metallica. Awesome show. I never got into Pearl Jam.

STP rules. I’m still rocking out those tunes weekly.
