happen? After every trip out on my boat my rear Starboard compartment has water in it sometimes.I don`t know it it`s meant to be an ice cooler or not but there appears to be a drain hole in the right corner . A 361V Ranger w/ The live well is next door from it .Could the water be coming from the live well? IDK but if anyone has an idea I sure would like to hear from You because I`ve tried to plug the hole and water still got in there. bang

If you pull the boat plug, and put water in the comparment, I would think the water would run out the plug.
If not the drain line from this compartment may be clogged. I use that comparmrnt for a ice chest, I plug that hole
fill it with ice and never had a problem,..That broken seal may be letting water in,..?

The hole that you see is much smaller the the boat plug hole. There is also one similar on the other side that never gets water in it which makes it so confusing. There is another compartment up @ the bow that`s used as an Ice chest for keeping crappie on ice. It has a screen over the drain hole.

You may want to try putting water in your live well while at home and monitor this compartment to see if water gets in. I still don't understand why there would be water inside this compartment when it has a drain hole unless the drain is stopped up. Good luck Horace. fish

Thanks Guys for the suggestions ! Turns out this compartment is for storage only according to Ranger boats DUH. pop r I took your advise and monitored the starboard live well and discovered the seal for that compartment was in fact letting H2o in JIM SR. So I used some 315 to reseal it and now NO PROBLEMS! You Guys Rock! Thanks again. thumb
