I use a couple of NRX rods and our local tackle shops just got these in. Said it’s the same rod blanks as the NRX but different guides. Any opinions from the owners. I’d like to stock up on them if they’re anything close to the NRX’s (at half the price)

Your local tackle shop is talking out their @zz. I have over a dozen Loomis rods from the E6X to the NRX+, the IMX-Pro is a great rod but not in the same league at the NRX

Your local tackle purveyor is full of [censored]. I'm not even convinced that the IMX Pro is as good of a rod as the original IMX series, let alone NRX.
