I don't need the very best but don't want junk either.

Academy in Tyler is a.no but figured down around Houston would be better.

Tell me what you wading guys use.

Thanks.

I use Everlast Reef Boots. Heavy, but I fish around oysters a lot. They hold up fairly well; I usually get rwo or three seasons out of a pair.

If you are worried about stingrays, you might try these: https://barts-bay-armor.com/

Very comfortable. I've only them a short time, so durability is not known.

Simms Zip II it Flats booties. Higher in cost but they have good arch support which I need with Plantar Fasicitis. They last a pretty good number of wades unless you wade a lot of shell.

I've got a pair of Caddis Flyfish wading boots my late neighbor left me. They look just like dive booties, but are tougher, and I have walked and waded on oysters with no trouble. They're not tall enough for stingray protection, but I don't normally wade fish. FYI IslandJim

I've got a pair of Hodgeman knee high boots I've used for a very long time. Not as bulky as the ray guard type boots, and hold up to a lot of shell without problems.
