Sandbass(big ones) were complaints several years ago as “taking over” Fork. Seems they have stopped being much of a conversation any more. Are they not as numerous anymore?

Funny you bring this up. Last few times I fished fork I’ve seen no sand bass schooling.

Still 1000s there and some giants. The little ones were schooling on the surface at the mouth of Mustangs a few weeks back. They aren’t going away so most just deal with em now……..

I was there in May and got into a school of the yellow + white bass. I caught one on every cast for about 30 minutes.
