Wild story. ESPN had seven high school football games on over the weekend. The showcase game was last night featuring one of the best teams in the country every year, IGM Academy, against Bishop Sycamore out of Ohio. Bishop Sycamore played another game Friday night, only has 30-35 players on its roster and doesn’t have enough helmets for all of them or matching uniforms, claims it has several players with D1 offers, and lost 58-0. And somehow it gets worse from there.

I was ready to dunk on ESPN too, and they definitely screwed it up big time, but the story as a whole is flat out insane. JUCO kids playing on a fake high school team, not even having a website, blatant lying by the coaches, alleged D1 commits no one has ever heard of, playing two games in three days…just crazy.

I'm just glad it happened to ESPN.

Correct. It’s “online only.” It’s a complete sham. They have 20 year olds playing on it, they have no facilities, and they don’t have funds to pay to travel but they play a national schedule.

ESPN is like AT&T, everything they touched turns into a steaming pile of poop. They are run by a bunch of woke clowns. I can't wait for them to finally get canceled.
