I am one of the rare people who can rub poison ivy on me and it does not bother me.

I am extremely allergic to poison ivy, gives me a free trip to the doctor/hospital for a steroid shot. Zanfel or Tecnu wash works good.

Reality. What a concept!

I'm giving Tecnu a shot... If it doesn't cure it I'll give apple cider vinegar a chance next since we have some in the fridge. I'm covered from the knees down... Itch isn't too bad but I don't want it to spread... No more weed eating for me... Thanks for all the suggestions... Dan thumb

I have had good luck with Zanfel. Also, White Vinegar poured directly on it also dries up the oil and is very soothing for the itching.

The trick is to immediately take a hot shower, use soap, and one the those scrubby thingies. Scrub, scrub, scrub. Keep clothing separate and wash in hot water.

You need to put a couple of your friends from all those pics you post into a little nurse or candy striper outfit and let them treat you for at least two to three weeks to make sure you survive. Make sure you pm me daily pics of their attire so I can make sure they are dressed inappropriately enough.

If there are any ugly ones, get them to do the weed eating for you.

The trick is to keep it dried out . Donโ€™t itch and keep it deprived of moisture so that the oil cannot spread . Thus you starve it the oil dries up and eventually goes away .

It can spread through your blood stream.
It will take a while to clear that much of it up.

Benadryl cream and Hydrocortisone.
It took me a long time to find this solution.
