There was some early hope with ivermectin for mild symptoms and it was a part of some respected treatment algorithms last year for mild symptoms.

However, the vast majority of physicians will follow practice guidelines determined by the best studies. The very best studies in medicine are double blind placebo controlled. The double blind placebo controlled studies are showing that there is no difference between ivermectin and placebo.

In the equine world it is plunger on a dig pump pumping their gut full. To kill worms.

And I know who "Jeff" is.

Yet it has antiviral qualities. One study showed a 90% reduction in hospitalizations. There have been many testimonials with people comparing it to tamiflu. But the truth is Pfizer and the others are leaky vaccines and big pharma isn't ever going to support treatment. There is more money in an annual booster. And who else is going to fund studies?

People who refuse to take vaccines because they are not fully approved by FDA and they take Ivermectin? How crazy can that be. I've treated thousands of cattle over the years for intestinal worms and it was very effective but not very helpful for the shipping fever we often dealt with when receiving cattle. I am not aware of it being FDA approved for humans so I doubt that it is being prescribed by doctors but I have not verified that.

You're talking two different things but since vaccinated individuals can still get COVID, treatment is still relevant for both. Google and read. There is science behind ivermectin.

A formulation of Ivermectin is approved for treating parasites in human, but the Ivermectin for cattle is not approved and if a doctor prescribes it for Covid, that is off label and probably illegal.

They are prescribing it locally. Guess you should tell them.

I will not argue with you as it is not important to me but I see the irony of those willing to take a parasite medicine developed for cattle and not FDA approved for humans but are unwilling to be vaccinated using the FDA approved vaccines.

And I see the irony in accepting death on a ventilator because you won't try that fda approved parasite medicine or any other that might help.

That’s not really irony.

Plenty of doctors prescribing it here. I know of one personally that took it and he got better before the other in his family who didn't. The guys he works with that got it also took it and said it helped. My sisters doc prescribed it to her but said he has had patients come back with some serious stomach issues after taking it. I would look to the infusion or hydrocloriquine first. I also know 2 very high risk people, my dad and wife's grandpa that also has stage 4 copd and they both got prednisone and my dad got a zpack and he already has inhalers(albuterol). Wife's grandpa already has a breathing treatment machine and oxygen. They both felt horrible for days but both are fine now and both say the prednisone kept it from getting in their chest

Prior to last week, were you against the vaccine?
