Ran out of s*** to watch while the grandson plays video games and ran across the HBO Show “Big Love”. It’s central family is polygamist...three wives, one dude.

While watching, made me wonder...in America today, why have we shunned the polygamistses? I mean, we no longer have any traditional morals...in fact, the more bent and wheels off your morals are, the more you are celebrated. Even a traditional ghey feller doesn’t get celebrated and applauded as much as the uber-ghey...men convert to women, woman converting to men, men can stay men but just act like a woman...etc., anything goes.

You can go to them rollin around parties and just thrash with whatever is there...but you can’t marry, then roll around and thrash with the same folks if you marry them all. Why is America so close-minded when it come to polygamy?

Make no mistake, I’m not advocating. I was was wondering why THAT line hasn’t been erased. The freakier folks get today, especially as it pertains to what their doing with their naughty parts, the more they’re celebrated it seems. So, why isn’t there a “Polygamy Pride” month...who is holding the line on that particular abomination while releasing and even elevating all the others?

Everything revolves around what women want...you know that saying"happy wife, happy life"....says who??? Why women of course...:) I mean think about it. When you were single you fished all you wanted, took home whatever woman you could, ate what you wanted, and so on. So a woman comes along and all of a sudden you have to clean house, not fish as much, take'em out to dinner, buy diamonds, cars, houses, etc. You no longer control your life....and they have convinced you it's all for your own good...:)

I see your point and agree with you.

Best guess, more people now a days celebrate freedom and individuality and this is the opposite of that I think.

I’m fine with it. If you want a bunch of wives, go for it. I don’t care. I will celebrate your lifestyle. Hell, I might make you a cake or something.

It is possible that non fishing guys have more time to spend with their wives and want more of them.
II don't understand non fishermen at all.

I can see the desire for multiple wife’s when young, no way in hell I’d want to deal with multiple wife’s after the age of 40. Not enough alcohol in the world to deal with the drama they’d come up with.
