Haven't been on it in a couple of weeks, but I know it pretty well. There is a large hydrilla bed near the damn. You'll see the pump station on the wets side. Use your Graph and go east from the pump station. Can't miss it. # weeks agao, it was starting in about 15' of water. C-rig flukes and 5" lizards, dead stick senkos, rattle traps all work there.

Many of the main lake points will be great, again, C-rigs on these points is what Wayne is gonna say. Drop shot on edge of grass lines is what Jason May is going to tell you when he finally chimes in here. I would certainly listen to these guys, cause they both are great sticks on JP.

My personal fave, Black / Blue 1/2 oz jig and craw in 12-15' water in any creek w/ trees - not many bites, but you don't get dinks fishing like this. Heavy act. rod, 50lb braid, and get after'em.

Jason and Wayne both will be zeroed in on the fish better than I am, but these are a few basic and reliable methods.

Good luck,

-Alton

yeah hydrila by the dam is good all the way across. there is a hump in party cove if you wanta catch some sandies. and the timber is usually pretty good, but shallow. there's also alot of good spots around cedar hill

Except for a very early possilbe top water bite (%:00am until maybe 6:45), I would concentrate on the outside weedline in 12-15 ft. I prefer the C/R here, but a texas rigged worm, fluke, wacky rig and dropshot all will work.

I haven't been out much in the last week a/c the rain, but I believe the bass have made another big move, and once the sun is up and strong (9:30am?) I'll be hitting the humps and deeper points starting at 15 and the out deeper until I contact the fish. I caught 30 ft deep bass last week while fishing for sand bass--gotta believe they are following the bait--

Also that west shoreline facing the dam is great too.

Radio, I thought you found the fish this past weekend. Sounded like you and your partner are going to weigh in two limits. Good luck and see you Saturday. Don't fish around the dam.

Nope. I'm talking about that little shoreline to your left as you are facing the pumping station and the dam (from a boat). That's west. The dam runs east from that position.

Hey Radio, You know what worm it is. It's the one that I can't get him off of since we fished Rayburn together. Mike
