The SV is a great reel. I don't dislike the Lew's but the SV is a great reel at a decent price. I'd go with the SV all day.

I have become a huge fan of the Tatula SV. Casts great with lots of speed on the spool to get better distance and placement while still maintaining control.

Been using Daiwa for years and years. The Tatula Elite platforms are my all time favorite to date. True workhorses and great performance.

I throw a mix of Lews and Daiwa. I don't dislike the Lews I have but I do prefer the Daiwa.

Tatula SV all the way.. My son bought an Abu Garcia Max Pro afew weeks ago, went out the other day and was really impressed. I like the Abu Garcia more then my Lews, but wouldn't trade my Tatula for either.

Been using Daiwa for years and years. The Tatula Elite platforms are my all time favorite to date. True workhorses and great performance. +1 I have Daiwa, Lews, and Shimano reels and like the Daiwas and Lews better than the Shimanos ( although my Shimano Curado, and Chronarch E's are great) The Shimano SLX is a good reel. I like the Lews super duty's and the BB1 pro's. My favorites are the Daiwa Tatula SV and the Elites, and the CT for shallow to medium diving crank baits. Lews super duty wide spool for deep divers and Carolina rig. I have been using baitcasters for 53 years now and the Daiwa SV is the best one that I have found to use for teaching someone how to use one and for skipping docks.

About 5 years ago, I won a Tatula in a raffle. I've been a big fan of them ever since. I believe I'm up to 12-13 of them in various models now
