For a 2001 200hp Merc? Needing it done an price seems high at the closest place to me.

Shouldn’t be more then an hour of labor. With that said some shops charge about $175 a half hour.

Two people make the job much easier.
Having the correct impeller and gasket replacements are the most difficult parts of the job.

We charge a standard hour for impeller changes, plus the impeller. Hour at $110 at our shop, impeller usually 20-40 dollars depending on the engine, and most elect to have their gear lube changed as well at an additional 49.99. Makes most impeller and lube jobs about $200 plus or minus a little.
