Fork was extra tough for us last Sunday 8/22. 4 fish on early top water bite then only one fish between 8:00am and noon on a spoon. Did anyone else figure them out?

I fished a tournament here in Alabama on Lay Lake Saturday. Same thing I had my 5 fish limit by 7:30 and I started at 6:00, then only 1 more fish the rest of the day.
I caught all mine on a Spro's DD50 crankbait. Silver with black back.

fished Saturday night and it was tough. We lost 2 huge fish and only a couple other bites for the whole night. Nothing in the boat.

The bites better in the afternoon.

Sinkey hush. Lol. Was nice not seeing a boat all afternoon!!! They are biting well durning the heat of the day though. I think full moon and return to stable weather had a play in that. It was pretty tough though the last couple of weeks for me. Got blanked one Saturday about two weeks back.

Pretty damn solid for a night tourney or any tourney out there right now! I always seem to catch way more slots at night.

mostly unders, with a 17 in and a 23 inch that only weighed 5-1/4 lbs !!
nothing deeper than 6 ft.
