Bought a 9 and 7 Ti2 just a little over a year ago they have been working fine untill last week and neither would turn on , they are both wired directly to my starting battery. ck connection at battery and fuses . checked connection of power cords seems to be the red connectors female on the powers cords. i can get them to come on and barley wiggle the connectors on the back of the units they will turn off. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. i have a old blue style power cord and a 110v to 12v converter and connected my units to that and they work fine. the blue connector seems much tighter connection without any wiggle or slack
is anyone else having problems with the two red connector power cords?

I have not heard of any problems with the red power connector cords. I am glad to see your units working fine on the 12v converter connection which indicates the units are probably ok. I know Bass Pro Grapevine carries the power cords. I would hope your sure you did not dim the brightness down causing the units screens to be so dark after booting up they appear to be off. You can check this out by double pulsing the on/off switch on the Elite Ti2 units to see if screen brightens up. Appears to be a power problem and most likely the power cord on the one you can wiggle and get it to shut down. I would start with brightness and move onto power cord based on how I am reading your post. I will send you a PM with my phone number.
