Pulled the boat out of the marina for the first time in 10 months. Time for an oil change and a good bath. The slime was getting thick. I hope the next guy in line at the car wash didn't slip and fall. Got the inside all cleaned out and added some upgrades. Started with some slime green LED lights on the back to light up the rods in the new poor mans Mul-T-Bars. They look awesome! See for yourself below... Not gonna get in any fishing this weekend. By the time I get done with the lights, rod racks, clean out, restock, oil change and anything else I need to do that I haven't thought of yet; the weekend will be over.

That is beautiful! Looks real good Tim!! . I have come to realize that the cleaner I keep the War Machine, the better she fishes! I used to believe the heavy coat of slime brought luck until I slipped on it and tore up my knee. Now I pressure wash her every trip or 2. That slime green is the color of luck Amigo!🍀 The more slime green, the luckier she gets!🍀🍀🍀

PS Tim, UV black lights will light all your fluorescent colored gear up like a Jedi lightsaber. Rods, rod holders, hi-vis line will all light up under UV. It’s a game changer for night fishing!

Chris, what black lights do you have? I want to put some 12v on my boat, but need to keep them small, so they do not stick out... remember this is my wife's pleasure boat... not my fishing boat. LOL!

I am planning to try the evening bite tonight also... some work to do today, but will be cooler and nice with a full moon tonight.

I have used the Fish Phazer lights for the last 5 yrs and they are awesome Ken. They have green lights that point towards water, UV lights that point towards your rods, and a blue light that points into the boat. Each can be toggled on or off independently when needed. I’ve been trying to get a second unit and they have been sold out for the past year and I can’t find them anywhere. I’m upgrading my night lights next spring and I’ve been looking at 2 different UV lights to really light up my fluorescent equipment. Here are the 2 I’ve been looking at Ken.

I’m leaning towards the firewater marine 18w UV lights.

The other ones I’m looking at are removable and plug into a jack that has to be installed.

Nice boat Tim, and as others have said, the lights are cool! Maybe strap a slime green LED light strip to your fishing rods, and have them be Jedi swords for fighting the fish.

Thanks fellas! I can't wait to get her back on the water. I pressure washed the inside, she is back to the original color. I modified the Bimini so I can walk under it. I'm 6'6" tall and they don't make Bimini tops with supports long enough for me to not whack my head on it or in the case my neck! I put extensions on it and I put fixed rods on the back and slime green straps on the front! I installed a headlight stanchion on the front, wired them to the trolling motor battery and mounted a switch on the helm. Got the new slime green rod racks mounted and tightened down good. New slime green bait cooler, knife and pliers. Installed the slime green LEDs on the back for the rod and line illumination. Good coat of Rain-X on the windshield. Oil change and gear lube change and she is ready for action!

Not sure if any of you saw it but Palmetto Cats did a video on which rods light up the best under a black light. Interesting results. I was set on trying the new Hellcat rods but after watching the side by side, I think I might go with the TWC instead .
