Everything has the software updates but its showing no connection. I use a spiltter so can still use my si and di if I absolutely have to. Should I just get rid of the splitter or test it in water first. I just had it installed at my boat shop and they said it may be the spillter and I will just have to live without the depth. What do y'all think? The accessory page confirms that it isn't detecting the mega 360. Gawd

reload your last update, if that won't work send it in.

had a 998 that dropped depth and temp, reloaded the last update and it kicked something into gear so it worked.

Using a MEGA 360 Y cable to connect the MEGA 360 and another transducer prevents getting SI from a SI transducer since the MEGA 360 uses the SI circuits. With that setup, you can only get SI from the MEGA 360.

When a Helix detects the MEGA 360, it sets the Connected Transducer choice to MEGA 360 ONLY by default. If you want 2D and Down Imaging with MEGA 360, you have to change the Connected Transducer setting to match what is connected.
If are are using a Humminbird MEGA SI+ transducer with the MEGA 360, the setting is HW: MDI+: MEGA 360.
If you are using a Minnkota Built-in MSI transducer with the MEGA 360, the setting is Built-in HW:MDI+:MEGA 360.

The MEGA 360 comes with two 10' cables, to trouble shoot the MEGA 360, use the included 14-pin to 7-pin cable and connect the MEGA 360 to the Helix 12 to see if the MEGA 360 is recognized and functioning.

Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, SOLIX 10 SI G3,
Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

I broke everything down and the splitter was the issue. The 360 is connected now so Im excited. Had to give up DI and depth for now but I will figure it out later when it isnt 105 degrees in my garage. Thanks again!
