Lighten up Doug.....It was just a joke, the guide tournament.
You mentioned there was a list of guides on Fork kept at one time and that is what I was thinking when you asked your question.
Wouldn't it be better to have a list of current guides and their phone # instead of just having a total # of people still guiding out there?
That is the reason I asked why you just want the total #.
I did not mean to upset you. Why are you so concerned about improving the value of the question as it pertains to you? If you think there's a better question to be asked, start your own thread and ask it. Your reaction to this thread is making you look really weird.

For some reason I'm thinking Lake Fork Marina used to have a complete list of guides, not just ones running out of their marina.

I guess I misread your question. I thought you just wanted to know the total number of guides still guiding on Fork. I didn't realize that your question implied that a list of names and numbers is what you were wanting also.

Really, so tell me, what value is it just knowing how many people are still guiding at Fork if you don't have the names or numbers of the ones that still are?? Why does that seem weird? Seems logical to me to have names and numbers.

2000 boats, average around 20 rods per boat, 10 guides per rod…..
