My wife’s cousin works in a Covid wing, they have 30 unvaccinated and 4 vaccinated in their ICU. Now I would like to know if the numbers in America represent that with total number of unvaccinated vs vaccinated. For example, do we have 100 million unvaccinated and 10 million vaccinated?

I have heard that approx. 70% of eligible Americans are vaccinated. It is clear that the number of hospitalized that are unvaccinated are disproportionately higher than those vaccinated. The vaccines do provide a materially higher degree of protection from hospitalization due to Covid.

I am anti covid vax so I believe this, or I got the vax and I believe this.

Are we talking about experimental covid vaccines that the manufactures can't be help liable for?

So given the real numbers above and the likely end result (in an ICU or on a ventilator), what's the real reason for not getting vaccinated? What is so important that you'd risk that for yourself and those that love/need you?

And waiting for FDA approval is the weakest possible argument. I don't think you're suddenly willing to take a vaccine because another government agency, with a long track record of mistakes, says it's safe.

The majority of those against the vaccine made up their mind before any numbers/results came out.

The numbers overwhelmingly show that the vaccine is preventing most vaccinated from contracting covid and it is keeping the far majority of the breakthrough cases out of the hospital. Yet these anti-vaccine people ignore the 99 reports of how well the vaccine is working and treat the 1 false report that says otherwise as gospel.

I have buddies here that swore up and down they would never take the vaccine before any info was released. But they "heard" that ivermectin from their local vet works, so they were quick to take that. I will admit the ivermectin is appearing to work for those testing positive, but I wonder how much research they did on that before ingesting it? They don't trust doctors, but trust their buddy down the street on something he heard about.

Hospitals across the country are posting hospitalizations, ICU, and vent data on vaccinated vs unvaccinated and its not close. The far majority of the vaccinated cases in ICU and on vents are also elderly patients with other underlying conditions. Without the vaccine I doubt they would have had much of a chance.


The previous spikes in COVID we saw mostly elderly patients being hospitalized. Now that over 70% of the >65 Age group is vaccinated, we are seeing as many cases of the 30-50 and 50-65 age groups being hospitalized than we did a year ago. These age groups have much lower vaccination rates because they were the ones that thought they didn't need it.

In the past month I have lost a 41 year old class mate, had 3 other classmates that were 41-42, and had a 45 year old friend that went through two rounds on a vent and a hospital transfer. Thankfully the other 4 are now home on oxygen recovering. But this isn't just affecting unhealthy older people. None of them were vaccinated. In that same time period I've lost a previous coworker that was a good friend, a friend's dad, and another friends mom. None of them were vaccinated either. My cousin lost her 31 year old husband earlier this year, neither was he. I know of 2 people personally that received the vaccine that tested positive, neither had serious symptoms.

It works.

You have 2 choices. You can believe the 96% of doctors that have taken the vaccine themselves, or you can believe Facebook doctors, memes, and unfounded conspiracy theories on how the gov't is pushing a vaccine that doesn't work. We all have the right to remain ignorant if we choose.

I am 81 years old with COPD.......about as vulnerable to Covid as you can get.......
I tested positive for Covid......fortunately I had the vaccine and all i had was a runny nose and some chest congestion........
