Anyone heading out to Lewisville tonight, got a small window and itching to get on the water. If your gonna be out give me a holler, I’ll be on the old lake side doing some drifting.

I sure wish! All those clouds earlier got me excited! Good luck! There has been a Thermocline in the lower half of the old lake to contend with. Anywhere from 15-25 ft depending on the day. We’ve been getting into them good in 14-22ft last 3 weeks. Give us a report.

Decent night for the dinner table and the freezer. Got on the water just after 1am, shad was pretty easy to find and I got a bonus bait, carp! First drift I started in about 25 FOW and drifted into 7 FOW, the blues were mostly active in about 12-18 FOW. Had to cut my drift short with the wind shifting on me but managed 8 blues all in the 2-10lb range. I mapped out my second drift through the creek channel and got into them pretty good where I was struggling to keep my poles in the water as I was solo tonight. Boated about 30 fish, kept 6 for dinner tonight and big fish went around 15lbs. Not to bad for a 4 hour night trip.
