Without talking to them, I can assure you that every E-1 from every branch of service who went over there as a fresh faced soldier could’ve told you exactly what would happen when we pulled out.

I say pull every American out now. Let the natives of Afghanistan figure it out. Sad that people/women/children are persecuted, but that area, which is only slightly smaller than Texas (Afghanistan is 96.19% the size of Texas), has always been tribal, and will always be. Let them eat each other. If they try to eat us again (9/11), let's do it from the air and never set another American boot print on that soil. That place isn't worth another drop of American blood, or even sweat for that matter.

To clarify, it wasn't all indigenous Afghans who executed the attacks on the US on 9/11. UBL used Afghanistan as a training area and recruited globally for his "jihad" against the US. When the Afghan govt didn't do anything about him, after much US pressure, the US responded. The rest is history. I don't have any ill will toward the native Afghans. They have a radically different culture than we do, and we cannot force them to adapt to our culture. Let them eat their own.
