The only things safe in that country are goats.

I don't understand how the Taliban was able to take over so quickly when they don't even have any sensitivity or inclusivity training for their soldiers. It's mind-boggling. You can bet maybe 60% or more that we trained were taliban as stupid as they are and as smart as we are they still infiltrated us.

As little as I could care about their sorry azz chicken [censored] army that just throws their weapons down when the Taliban shows up, I do feel sorry for the women and children who will suffer for this war. Other than that all I can do is pray that one day they become civilized and learn to live like normal humans. Till then we should run airstrikes over the Afghanistan countryside killing Talibs till there are none left. But at least Biden did ask them nicely not to destroy our embassy. I used to think that way ---- but honestly , the women are just as big a problem as the men . They are raised ( indoctrinated -- using US terminology ) to hate all Westerner's . Kids are given weapons at a very young age --- and taught violence . We should do a movie ---like the " Purge " . Take a full 24 hours , once a year / every year and just obliterate every building , every cave , every road . Put it on pay per view , live stream the explosions , have someone like Joe Rogan do the commentary . BUT NO US lives lost and no boots on the ground .

At the end of the Civil War the South toyed with the idea of prolonged gorilla warfare with the North. In response Grant ordered the Shenandoah Valley so thoroughly destroyed even a crow couldn't find something to eat. Not much short of your family starving at home will bring gorillas to the bargaining table. This type of warfare is no longer palatable, and thus wars against gorillas can no longer be won.
