Thought i would give a heads up to anyone thats thinking bout buying a lot on the new lake. You need to check out the Shoreline Management Plan ,,,,,bout 248 pages ,,, They are allowing boat docks but just in certain areas. No boat ramps other than the three they have built. There are Lotsa restrictions . Just dont buy a lot anywhere thinking you can build a boat dock cause you cant.

Think they may have learned from other lakes what developments, numerous RV parks + ramps, and a multitude of dock owners can do to shoreline and aquatic vegetation health

Kinda what i was thinking too. Also was wondering bout the fees for having a dock. Nothing can be built outa treated lumber either. Didnt know if any of the other lakes round here have restrictions like that

Good call. Too many docks is a bad thing. RV parks might be the worst, hopefully they keep those off the shoreline too.

Ok I will bite, i spend about 80-100 nights a year in a RV at a lake. I mostly stay in State parks and Corp parks. So how are the RV parks ruining the lakes?

Keep the info up Kody, I think I have talked myself out of LBC and possibly into LRH but it helps to stay turned in.

Yep. I think Lake Ralph Hall gonna be a better fishing lake. Deeper water and lots more coves. Dont know how much timber they gonna cut but hope they leave more than. Bois darc. Got a friend that lives by the dam on L R H. Gonna go out with him and guy that he has met that working on it.
