Ma was an operator in a very small town in Canada. Pa went up there to help with natural gas pipeline running through town. He would call his mom(my grandmother) back in Texas at least once a week. These were the times when party lines were the rage and you had to have an operator connect long distance calls.

So, when Pa wanted to call home, he had to wait for a line to open. While waiting ,sometimes for hours, he talked to the operator. Asked her out once, got married and moved her down here.

My aunt had a party line. Always worried somebody was eavesdropping.

It shouldn’t. But, this bugs me. You have this wrong. Mikey didn’t like anything. He was like a bunker person in a kids body. Everything sucked.

But, he liked the cereal. They were trying to say that if that little fun hating, picky little brat likes it, then anyone would like it.

For some reason, most remember it incorrectly.

thumb That’s important stuff Davedave! I’ll agree, it bugs me too! Keep fighting the good fight.

I was taking creative liberty with the original theme of the hater called mikey, I will try to do better, mikey!
