 just tested positive for covid and only symptoms are runny nose and chest congestion....

just got back early Saturday morning from hunting trip to Bolivia with 5 other guys....started runny nose and some chest congestion about last wednesday but never have felt bad...slight fever saturday afternoon...none since...went to be tested for covid this morning as did two of other guys...all tested positive.....but none of us are really sick and I have COPD and 81 years old....all of us are going to undergo that monocional infusion thereapy to boost our immune system prescribed by our doctor.....
I had the Moderna 2 shot vaccine back in Feburary and based on my experience and situation,I firmly believe the vacine not only reduced the severity of the covid but in my case,probaly saved my life.....

Take it easy and get to feeling better soon. thanks but i feel great except for having to blow my nose now and then and a little cough....don't feel sick at all but am goling to quarrentine a few more days to be sure....doctors off told me I shouldn't be able to transmit anything two days after last fever....and my wife has had no symtoms of covid. and i been around her since saturday.....(no monkey sex yet)....

I wish you the best.
When I tested positive on a Monday, I had same symptoms as you more or less. By Saturday, I thought I was over it. Sunday, back porch grilling, football on the tube. Monday morning, I was getting chest X-rays to determine the extent of covid pneumonia.

That’s the exact reason I got the shot... it’s not a matter of if you’ll get the rona, it’s when. Id rather deal with milder symptoms if at all possible.

Glad you're doing well! I agree with your assessment. I did the same thing at the same time for similar reasons.
