What is best bobber stopper? I’ve used the string kind and the small colored slip on kind. They both are constantly hanging up line on the reel. Is there a better solution?

I prefer the rubber bead type. The ones that come on a plastic ring with thin metal wire. The ones I use are less oval shape and more cigar shape. Goes through the guides pretty easy. I rarely see any casting distance reduction. I rarely put them so far up on the line that they go into the reel but the times I have I haven't had any issues.

My issue is line size. Most stoppers I can find in this country don't work well for line that is real thin. Suffix Advanced flouro in 4lb is something like .10mm diameter. The stoppers slip a bit each cast. Luckily I had a few packages I brought back from Asia that are super small. Perhaps they can be found on Amazon or eBay.

I dont like the strings. They slip and loosen constantly. The thin plastic line through ones, shaped like a racetrack with holes in it, seem too bulky to be useful.

I prefer the rubber bobber stops. The biggest issue I have found is when using rods with small guides, they will hang up and not slide through. As long as you have a rod with bigger guides such as BnM you will have no problem.
